2017 British Columbia Wildfires

The Province of British Columbia is facing one of the worst wildfire seasons in more than a decade. B.C. has declared a provincial state of emergency to ensure a co-ordinated response to the current wildfire situation and to ensure public safety.

While the impacts of the fires are significant in some parts of British Columbia, many areas of B.C. are unaffected and open for visitors. All visitors are requested  to check with local tourism info centres for specific information on the area they wish to visit. For appropriate travel decisions and for more informations please check
