Visa information for EU-Citizens

EU-Citizen do not need a visa to enter Germany for short and long stays. 

However, if you are moving to Germany, you must register at the city hall (Einwohnermeldeamt / Bürgeramt). Depending on the federal state of your residence this registration needs to be completed within 10 - 14 days after arrival.

EU-Citizens of most EU countries are allowed to work in Germany. No work permit is required. Further information is provided on the website of the Federal Employment Agency.
