Entry clearance requirements for non-Canadian citizens depend on the citizenship and resident status of the traveller. Citizens of many countries do not need a visa to visit Germany for stays up to 90 days. Please check the country list to determine whether you need a visa.

Citizens wishing to stay in Germany up to 90 days within 6 months period or transit via Germany and if they do not attend to work in Germany they will need to apply for a Schnengen visa. The Schengen visa does also entitle to enter the other Schengen countries for tourist, business or visitor reasons.
