Overview of visa fees
Please note that fees are payable in Canadian dollars.
The German Foreign Missions, but not the Honorary Consuls, accept credit cards and cash in CAD. We cannot accept cheques or debit cards.
Bills of 100,- CAD are not accepted.
For applicants under the age of 6 no visa processing fee is charged.

Please note that according to a EU council decision of January 1, 2006, Schengen visa fees for nationals of the following countries, except for cases where the general fee exemptions above apply, are 35,- Euro:
- Albania
- Bosnia Herzegovina
- Georgia
- Kosovo
- Macedonia
- Moldova
- Montenegro
- Russian Federation
- Serbia
- Ukraine

Please note the following: The fees are fixed in Euro but payable in CANADIAN $ only. The amount in Canadian dollars is subject to the actual exchange rate and varies. The general fee is around 100,- CAD (60,- CAD, if the fee is 35,- Euro).
