Exhibition: Témoigner pour Agir
From November 29, 2017 - Maison de la culture Frontenac
The artworks, from both professional artists and community art projects, present narratives that are intimate and contemporary, which reflect a collective struggle and a call for solidarity. The German artist, Ins A Kromminga, will present multimedia drawing in installation in situ.

Closing Conference – Intersex People Finding Their Voice: Rising From Shame, Stigma, and Speechlessness. Ins A Kromminga
Friday, January 19 2018, 7 to 8:30PM - UQAM
The intersex activist and artist, Ins A Kromminga, will explore the emergence, in public spaces, of voices, language, and testimonials from intersex people. Drawing on personal artworks and other projects arising from within the activist intersex movement, Kromminga will analyze how these voices, historically and socially silenced by the predominance of a medical approach that pathologizes and exoticises intersex people, can be the source of a global movement for change.
