The Goethe-Institut celebrates its 50th year anniversary with a worldwide exhibition for fans of fairy tales, both young and old. Reel Artist Film Festival seeks out the very best documentaries on visual art and artists. This year the festival presents a substantial German contingent among the work presented, such as three documentaries by Ralph Goertz from the Institut für Kunstdokumentation und Szenographie in Düsseldorf, Germany, a self-directed documentary by acclaimed artist and filmmaker Rebecca Horn, and a rare look at the work process of Gerhard Richter, the internationally renowned German artist known for his "squeguee" style paintings, by filmmaker Corinna Belz.
