The Federal Republic of Germany maintains four foreign missions in Canada: an Embassy in Ottawa and Consulates General in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
The Two Consular Districts in Canada
Consulate General in Toronto:
Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec
Consulate General in Vancouver:
Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories , Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.
On July 1, 2015 Germany's diplomatic representations in Canada underwent further restructuring of their consular services.
The Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulate General in Montreal no longer accept passport applications and have ceased to offer consular services altogether.
The German Consulate General in Vancouver is continuing to offer limited consular services.

The Honorary Consuls
In addition, limited consular services are also offered by the Honorary Consuls in Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Winnipeg, and St. John's. This service is offered for your own convenience, you can also approach the Consulate General in charge of your consular district.
